    Housewright Dura-Build Ltd. has been in business for over 25 years in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, based in McHenry County, Illinois. Formerly Housewright Design-Build Ltd. and "Housewright" (as a sole proprietor), our focus has expanded from residential design and construction to distribution and installation of LOGIX Insulated Concrete Wall products, and the FAB-FORM concrete fabric forming system.
Incorporated in 2002, Housewright took its name from the 18th and 19th century craftsmen who traveled throughout the newly formed United States plying the trade of timber-framing and traditional carpentry. Commonly known as “Wrights” in various form (Timberwright, Woodwright, Wheelwright, etc), the name was adapted to “Housewright” to express our love for the home as the focus of our construction business.
We have always centered our activities on historic preservation, new infill construction in existing residential communities and design-sensitive remodeling of existing homes, especially kitchen and bath. In this current economic situation, Housewright now turns permanently to a commitment to green building. We are proud of our new association with LOGIX and pledge to encourage and instill the use of this innovative technology in the built environment to the best of our abilities.
As an authorized distributor, Housewright Dura-Build will focus on the commercial market as well as residential. We look forward to supplying the needs of Design Professionals, Builders and Building owners in this challenging time ahead, as our industry emerges stronger and smarter to answer the call of energy efficiency, safety and sustainability for the twenty-first century.
